How do I get started?
It is recommended you read through the rest of the Commission FAQs first—then simply fill out the form below to begin the exciting process of bringing your vision to life!
What do I need to consider for my custom artwork?
Some important areas to consider:
Size and Orientation
What dimensions would you like the artwork to be? Do you want the artwork displayed horizontally or vertically?
Colors, Themes and Subject Matter
What color(s) would you like the artwork to predominately exhibit? What main themes (joy, hope, courage) and subject matter (women, flowers, etc) do you want your commission to portray?
If you're unsure of what size/colors/themes you're looking for, I am more than happy to guide you through the process. Emailing through photos of the space you will be hanging the artwork, along with surrounding dimensions (of the wall, a nearby couch, etc), is a great place to begin.
Inner Stirrings
What is the main feeling you want your custom artwork to radiate? Are there songs or poems that carry the same feeling you want your artwork to evoke?
Please send through a detailed description of what you are seeking in terms of feeling and meaning. The more information you can offer, the better I can bring your vision to life.
Framing
Framing is not included in commission services, but I am happy to recommend frames that best suit the artwork.
Important Note
Sending through photos of my previous work that are similar to your vision is very useful, but please note that I do not create exact replicas of existing pieces. Your artwork will be unique to you and you alone.
What does the commission process look like?
Securing Your Slot
To begin working with me on your original custom artwork, you will need to book a commission slot.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is necessary to secure your position.
Timeline
It will take 4 - 6 weeks from when your commission slot is secured for your piece to be completed. If you are requesting a custom-sized canvas, it may take a while longer to source the materials.
Please note: Oils are a slow-drying medium, and will need a minimum of 4 weeks after completion to cure enough to be safe to varnish and then ship.
Updates
I will send you progress photos and updates via email or social media (whichever is your preference) as the artwork comes to life.
Amendments
You may request up to two minor compositional adjustments. For further or more large-scale adjustments an additional fee is required.
Completion
Upon completion of the artwork, I will send you a video and photos to confirm you are completely happy with your artwork!
Ready to Ship
Once your piece is cured it will get a layer of varnish to protect it and to make the colors pop, and then it will be ready to ship.
Upon receipt of the remaining 50% commission fee, the artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped to you. Each commission comes with a certificate of authenticity.
If you are a Westchester County local, a pick-up can be arranged.

The smallest commission size offered is 18"x20".
Rates are estimates and are subject to change depending on the specifics of the commission.
Refunds
Due to the nature of custom work, refunds cannot be accepted.
